Sometimes when you make a cross, you just intuitively KNOW that cross will produce some amazing kids and most likely an introduction or two. The cross of my Smoke Scream x Black Eyed Jester with Emerald Starburst was just that. All three of these cultivars are OUTSTANDING parents, with a collective 137 introductions between the three of them. It has taken literally thousands of seedlings to get to this point and produce Violet River Dancer. She is one of the most distinctive, unique daylilies of this generation. Stamped with the incredible glowing green eye of her parent emerald starburst, she shows off an INTENSE indigo blue eye with a feathered patterning, a trait that is extremely rare in Emerald Starburst kids. Check out the Deep, Mesmerizing Violet of her petals, a perfect foil to her patterned eye and throat. But wait, there's more! She is also a BICOLOR, adding in complimentary maroon sepals. Stately (38 inches tall!), HUGE (9 inches across!) with perfectly spaced 4 way branches and 22 fragrant buds per reblooming scape, this is a CAN'T MISS daylily!......$100 SF.
